Building a fairer, healthier New Mexico

Antoinette is passionate about protecting New Mexico’s beautiful but fragile environment. She supports a Green Constitutional Amendment and believes every resident has a right to clean air, clean water, and healthy land.

Water

Access to clean water is a universal right. Antoinette supports revitalizing water infrastructure, guarding water supplies from pollution, and coordinating the state’s vital water data.

Air and climate

She supports strong methane and ozone protections, vigorous air monitoring, renewable energy investment, and a just transition to a clean economy.

Antoinette respects responsible gun ownership while recognizing the dangerous combination of domestic violence and firearms. She has supported secure-storage legislation, protections for survivors, emergency protection orders, and background checks for gun transfers.

Our children are our most important resource. Antoinette supports strong funding for early childhood education, public schools, and accessible, high-quality higher education. As a former professor, she believes teachers must have a strong voice in how students learn.

Antoinette believes health care is a basic human right and should not depend on employment. She supports expanding coverage and state action that fills gaps in care.

Personal health decisions—including reproductive decisions—belong to individuals, not government. She has supported protections for patients and providers seeking reproductive or gender-affirming care in New Mexico.

Voting is the foundation of democracy. Antoinette opposes barriers to registration and voting and believes every eligible person should have equal access to the ballot.

She supports a fairer, clearer tax code and reducing New Mexico’s dependence on volatile oil and gas revenue. She also champions public financing, contribution limits, and greater transparency in political spending.
